Soaker Hose Accessories
Soaker Hose Accessories: Items that are helpful when installing a Soaker Hose System.
First off, if your working with an existing soaker hose system and want to make sure your ordering the correct size, make sure you get the sample kit. This will give you a few inches of each size for you to compare.
Next we have the calcium filter, which is pretty much a must in any soaker hose system, except the Rain Barrel Soaker Hose. The Calcium Filter will filter our calcium build up from hard water, and many fine impurities that could clog your soaker hose. Calcium Filters work great on buildup in evaporative coolers in the southwest USA as well.
Finally we have flow discs (see below), which helps regulate water flow on long distances of soaker hose.
