Pictures and/or drawings are a HUGE plus, as it lets us have a better visual of what we are working with. |

Also, if you have any preferences, as to what type of irrigation you would like to use. For instance, drippers, micro sprinklers, micro sprayers, soaker hose, drip tape, dripper line, etc. Please keep in mind, that one way is not necessarily any better than another, it's just a matter of which will work best for your application. You can also mix them up, using drippers in one section and maybe soaker hose in another. |

Know your PSI (pounds per square inch). This is very important when using drip irrigation. Most drip irrigation is run at 25 psi. Higher pressures can result in damaging your system, or blowing your fittings off. Most house pressure is between 40-60 psi, and would allow you to use any standard pressure regulator. However, if you pressure is over that, you will need a different pressure regulator, one that can withstand a higher pressure. |

Sometimes, knowing your GPH can be useful, especially if you are are going to be utilizing a lot of water. So if you buy enough stuff that is going to use 300 gallons of water in an hour, but you are only putting out 250 gallons....well, obviously this isn't going to work. |

How far from your water source, to your garden? |

Do you want to put your system on a timer? If so, how often do you want the timer to come on, and for how long. |

Do you have city water, well water? Is your water high in minerals? |
|
Do you want to be able to fertilize through your system? |
